I am grateful for...

Thanksgiving sets the tone for the upcoming holidays, most notable for gatherings with family and friends, shopping and let’s not forget about the food, which is the central part of most gatherings. However you choose to spend the holidays, health and safety should be an integral part of your celebrations.

This Thanksgiving and everyday, I am grateful for so many blessings in my life, especially for YOU; most of you have been with me since day one when I started this journey to support women in their health - 5 years ago.

Thanks for your continued support over the years. I continue to do this work because of all the inspiration you provide - it has kept me going… and I THANK YOU!

I am also grateful for good friends, a loving family, a grounded life and most of all my health.

As you kickoff the holiday season, continue to practice healthy habits and if you are not currently doing so, it’s not too late - I can support you on your wellness journey.

Remember, postponing healthy habits until tomorrow compounds and gets harder by the day and as you age.

IF NOT NOW WHEN

Here a few healthy habit tips you can use during the holidays:

  • First thing in the morning before your coffee/tea or breakfast, have 16-20 ounces of water at room temperature with 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and desired amount of fresh lemon or 2 drops of lemon essential oils. This helps to get bile moving flush out unwanted and undigested substances in your body

  • Drink a lot of water before events or celebrations where you know there will be an abundance of food

  • Eat the fruits and vegetables before eating any carbs or sugary treats - you will feel fuller and less likely to overeat

  • NEVER go the events or celebrations being extremely hungry -like not eating all day. This is a recipe for overeating and often the wrong foods
