Managing Pain Using Natural Solutions - My Interview with Dr. Misty Paul - (Part 2 of 2)

At some point in our lives, we all have experienced some type of physical pain. Often pain may be the result of an injury from accidents, athletic activities, the ageing process or some other illness that is driving physical pain.
Uncovering the root cause or the source of your pain is important before you can solve the problem. Unfortunately, we do not always have the luxury or take the time to uncover the root cause of our pain because it is so easy to either get a prescription from our healthcare providers or reach for over-the-counter medications. And while we do feel relief after taking medications, the side effects and the damage being done to our bodies is not that immediate. But over time, they manifest themselves into other types of illnesses.
Unless your pain is chronic and you know the root cause and you are being treated by a healthcare provider, I encourage you to explore natural solutions before reaching for medications. In many instances, many healthcare providers are open or even recommend that their patients use natural solutions in conjunction with their prescription medications. As an individual, you should always do some research and eventually you will do what feels comfortable based on your personal needs.
